God please direct my walk, my vision for my life, my wisdom to know what I can help, change or walk away from AND my talk? Have you ever found yourself whispering a similar prayer in your secret closet, in the stillness of the night or right before you responded to a negative email? Lord knows I try to be at peace in all of my things, and to still my tongue of yesterday and God has answered many of my prayers by guiding my tongue to ensure my latter days are far better than the days of my youth. Hello somebody? However, sometimes my spiritual journey forces me to cross the path of a person who allows pessimism, unhealthy attitudes and destructive behaviors to keep them STUCK in a negative place despite their ability to part the Seas of isms, schisms, emotional abuse, torment, side-eyes and stares by merely lifting up the staff of righteousness and speaking one word to calm the emotional rivers containing rain drops and tear drops.
Well, I recently went through an emotional sea of destruction that was sparked by the smallest of small issues that wouldn’t have triggered more than anything other than a simple response to an email but for some messiness in the midst of our organization. Lord knows I maintained as neutral of a position when responding to three days of negative emails from a she-devil who hit my thorny area. Once she hit the point of no return, I let go of my messiness and let God by politely calling her out on her mess and then politely asking her to stop sending me emails. For a brief moment, I even considered blocking her from emailing again. Hey, I’m being honest. Well, she-devil sent me one more email at 11 something in the evening which was far past any regular business day. I didn’t read the email until after I spent time with my babes, having counsel with deacon hubby and starting my new day with prayer, praise and petitions.
As a Saved & Sassy Diva who believes a little transparency can help another woman in All things, I would like to share my response to the she-devil’s venom: I almost ignored your email because of your seeming hostile manner wherein you responded to my previous emails. However, I am glad I opened this one because I realize I didn't err when I felt you were coming at me in a hostile manner. Yes, you were coming at me in a hostile manner as the font of your email spoke VOLUMES. Despite, the obvious I now realize that you allowed negativity to creep in because you allowed your ear to listen to negative ones who carry their own baggage and venom.
To push FORWARD, I like to apprise you of a few things about me. First, I am a compassionate woman of God who truly believes X can have an awesome ministry helping others get unstuck in their legal problems once we choose to come together and use our excellent written and oral persuasiveness for good. However, to allow ministry to work, we advocates for change must prevent ourselves from also being too STUCK, ("Stubborn To Utilize Caring Knowledge about the facts and circumstances"). Second, it is never good to get information from negative people because I don't play games as I am too grown for that and have a reputation of being a straight shooter—at times too a fault, but God is still helping me with certain personal faults and weaknesses.
Lastly, each day I learn to proceed on my life journey as joyously as possible. However, I too get a little STUCK when I feel deep down on the inside that someone is personally attacking me. I know, character flaw of mine but then again God made me passionate about ALL things; good, bad or indifferent. On the go forward, I love living my life as a Saved & Sassy Diva who is free from as much isms, schism, adversity and negativity as possible; free from obvious sins that hamper my walk and talk and free from shadey, shade shade of those negative, back-biting nayers who hide behind others while spewing negativity on the good in ALL things. Hence, the point of this email.
Are you ready to join me on not allowing ourselves to be STUCK?
